We are a socioeconomic think tank that is focused on developing world issues. We work primarily on big issues. We are at this time focused on ideas that we believe will offer solutions to some of the problems worrying the ecosystem of Africa.

Equally exciting to us is the fact that we want to make our ideas work well to benefit society. So, in addition to the think tank group, we have other group of experts from multifaceted backgrounds who work with us from time to time and on an ad hoc basis to turn our ideas into reality.

Our think tank group picked a digitization project as our first idea for Africa. This digitization project is primarily about issuing unique numeric ID's to residents in Africa. We are happy to announce that after a number of missed steps, misadventures, and false starts, Nigeria, a country with the largest population in Africa (200 million people) now wants to seriously work on this idea the right way. Nigeria recently secured a grant of 433 million US Dollars from the World Bank and European Union to work on its part of the unique numeric ID project for Africa. We will like to say kudos to Nigeria.

As encouraging and as happy as we are about Nigeria's decision to be the first one to work on this unique numeric ID project for Africa, we still believe that a one continent approach to this project is the most desirable scenario for Nigeria and all of Africa (link below provides project details), so, it is perhaps time for the other 54 countries in Africa to begin work on their funding needs for the project. Huge cost savings will be realized when the work done to develop the digital infrastructure and data platforms for the project includes all the 55 countries in Africa. Thank You.
